I have hptuners but honestly don't know anything about tuning and just use it myself for getting log files. Not sure if it requires a license to log a run or not though.
No, I haven't bought HP Tuners yet. Heck, I don't even own a Notebook PC at this time.

I need to pony up for a Notebook and HP Tuners so I can start logging this stuff and quit my bitchin'!

What I am saying is that I can log it for you. If it doesn't require a license (ie: $100 to tune on hptuners) to do just a log I can do it for free. Just meet up one evening and hook up to it and see.

very generous offer, take him up on it Lloydster, shouldnt matter you have a EFI live tune.

Westers once told me the way to look at different tuning software is imagine taking a nut off of a bolt, you will need a wrench to do it ,you can use a craftsman or a snap on or a mac wrench to remove the nut, the different software IE: LS1 edit or EFI live or HP,is the same as different wrenches

Does westers correct???

I do understand LLoyd is just looking for someone to look at a log of his (lloyd that sounds wierd)

That's a VERY generous offer, thanks!

I'll try to take you up on it once we find out if it requires another HPT license or not.

I'm running my Pat G tuned ECM exclusively now. Tried one of my Westers ECMs a while back and it runs fine except at WOT - Pat G calibrated the ECM and the TCM for 6000 RPM upshifts, but both of my Westers ECMs are calibrated for stock RPM upshifts - no worky together!

To take logs there is no lisence needed. You only need the lisence to write tune file onto a PCM.
