I just installed a pace Edwards Jackrabbit roll-n-lock style on a new super duty at work. Totally flush with the bedrails. And no piece bolted to the tailgate to get in the way. I want one for my truck now.
Two drawbacks
1: Price- probably around $1200-1600
2: The small amount of space used up at the front of the bed. Sucks for 5'8" beds.
Pros:
Metal covering, not vinyl that can be cut.
Low profile.
Easy install

I have a cheap clamp on cover that I use for when we go on vacation. It's made by bestop. Its a vinyl cover so there isn't much protection from theft. But I use it to keep things dry. It hangs on the wall of my garage 11 month a year.

There are plenty of options to choose from. We have a good selection of tonneau covers on our website. Our newest line - tonneau elite- has been really popular because it is a really good value, but also a good, quality tonneau. It may be worth looking into for your trip. Hope this helps.
