I'll try to get a good pic of the tags and any other info I can pull off of it. I'd get real curious if it was aftermarket. The truck only had ~8300 on it when I bought it and not a scratch. If someone replaced the driveshaft, surely there's a story behind that. I am 4x4 if that matters. I checked my build sheet and didn't see anything that jumped out at me. It has NZZ off road skid plate package and YD3 Base Axle, which didn't say much to me about drive shaft.

got a 2011 NNBS CC with ARH longtubes, TVS2300, and 4.10's, all on a 6.2L. How serious is this driveshaft thing and am I long overdue? Im a little concerned about this now and have been saving for some 22's or 24's. So my question is should I be holding off with my wheels purchase and use those funds for a driveshaft?

The "tags" weren't really tags after all. Maybe they are for balancing? I did find a bar code and manufacturer, AAM. My guess is that this is a stock drive shaft, especially since it says Guanajuato, the state in Mexico where Silao is, were my truck was built.

If your 2wd and one piece aluminum I would worry about it if you like speeds above 100mph.

I didn't measure my Dad's Denali but his is AWD and I looked under it today. Its way shorter than mine so Im willing to bet his wouldn't give him the same trouble that mine has given me.

Mine is a lowered 4WD Z71... I think it is longer than the AWD Denali trucks. I certainly would like to avoid what you went through. My wife would have lost her damn mind and said "sell this truck"

I use the tools I have at my disposal, figured the diesel would be cheaper than a tow truck on Super Bowl Sunday
