Default alternative to chrome rear bumper on nnbs?

please correct me if i am wrong, but all the nnbs trucks come with chrome rear bumpers..... i want to color match the front AND rear, but i dont want a roll pan. i want to keep the trailer hitch and plug... for now.

from what i understand, the chrome is next to impossible to remove, and gm dosen't make a raw bumper. do i have a third choice?

also, is there a paint matched tail gate handle and bezel? i couldn't find one.

I have done all of the above plus smoothed/painted complete mirrors...lol

The only choice on the rear bumper is to sand/etch/paint like I did...or....buy the denali paintable ends and fill the backup sensor holes and paint those...they come primered.

First I used 60 grit then 100 grit sanding pads on my oribital sander, be sure to get every square inch.

Looks nice, I would also like to paint my rear bumper to match. Probably do it later on.

If I'm not mistaken doesn't the base work truck nnbs come with a non-chrome front and rear bumper?

Nope...all NNBS have the chrome rear bumper...only denali has a painted rear bumper and it has the backup sensors so if you buy it you will have to weld/smooth those holes...unless yours has sensors.

JB I didnt know YOU painted your rear bumper yourself. Didn't you have someone paint the frontend? Or did you do that yourself too?

No I did the rear bumper myself, the front bumper/mirrors/tailgate handle were done at my painters and of course the grill came like that from GM.
