Default AFM/DOD Delete+Cam kit?

I keep seeing AFM delete kits, and VVT delete kits. But they all duplicate components. Does no one sell a single AFM/VVT delete kit with a cam and valve springs included?

I think Texas Speed has AFM and VVTkits that do not duplucate parts. I can obviously get a cam and springs kit from them as well. I will contact them and see if I need any little things I cannot reuse. 👍

I think Gwatney Performance does too.

I am also using a texas speed setup and didn't have any duplicate parts unless you choose to add duplicate parts. give them a call everything is very nice and comes packaged well.

Yeah, I have worked with them in the past with my Firebird and they have been good to deal with.

Probably should go ahead and do a new oil pump and timing chain since I will already be in there and the thing has 209k miles on it....

I REALLY hope this is NOT one of the LC9s that has the crank gear @9° off...

I haven't heard of this. Please elaborate.

A few people have had LC9 engines that were hard to tune. A couple folks on LS1tech found the actual keyway for the crank gear not in the same place as other engines. No one seems to know if it is a VVT thing or random.
Forcefed86 was one. And denmah (Matt Happel-Sloppy Mechanics) even just gave up on an LC9 and called it the voodoo motor because it had issues. I wonder if his was one of the ones with funky crank timing.

I did the tsp afm/dod with their stage 3 truck cam kit and new oil pump and chain. I made 392 rwhp, 374 rwtq on a mustang dyno doing a 2nd gear pull.
