Ok, my silverados rear end went out and swapped it for an 02 off a z71. It ran good for a month and its down again. My cuz bought a crashed 07 crew cab for parts. He let me have the rear axle. When i was preping it i noticed that on top of the housing the AAM logo is casted on it. My original one off my truck didnt have that. The glove box does state its a G80, is there 2 different housings, or internals on the crew cab better due to weight? Any body esle have seen this?
