7 inch drop in the rear .. HELP

Default 7 inch drop in the rear .. HELP

so i have a 4/6 drop from djm... i want to do it 7 inch in the rear tomorrow... do i have to just out the stick the stock shackle hanger back on??? i couldnt find this online... need help

Not sure what that means but you should have stock hangers/shackles with a flip kit...If you have a flip kit then you could run a rear shackle for more drop (1-2")..If you have shacles/hangers then you need lowering leafs..or remove the overload leaf if you dont use your truck to haul or tow....good for 1.5" +/-

Yes stick the stock hanger back on and youll sit at 7ins. The shakle lifts the rear when used on a flip kit. I have a DJM 4/7 kit on my 07. Just flip kit and arms

Agreed. The stock shackles will set you at 7". All you need is the flip kit. No hangers are shackles.

Definitely use the stock shackle with a flip kit. If I'm not mistaken the flip kit is actually 6" of drop, you get the 7th by taking out the block that comes stock on the truck. I could be wrong tho.

THANKS BRO... YEAH I DROPPED IT AND ITS 7 INCH DROP HELL YEAH.. one problem i thought it had 4/6 but i guess its only dropped 3 inch up front.. so im driving with 3/7 drop.. sucks... i guess ima have to buy the new set off control arm...

What tire size you got on urs... 275 45 20??

buy new control arms? why cant you just get drop struts for the extra 1"?

I think i like your tire set up....
Well yeah i think ima look into front strut like a one inch drop will be koo..
i live in gardena.. where djm suspension is located.. mike will hook me up with the control arms $300-350 (basically the whole front parts)... but i dont want to spend that kind money... i was saving up for my stall....
Does anyone recommend some 1 inch drop struts???
