Whatever you do, you will need to have your stock TCM tune adjusted. Depending on your converter makers recommendations, you may not have the correct lockup for your new converter. Single discs are usually not recommended to be locked at WOT and the stock converter IS set to lock at WOT in 3-6.

62nalide is right, I would go multi disk for sure. Your asking for trouble running a single disc behind a boosted 6.2. Do yourself a favor and call or email Chris from Circle-D. He will sell you exactly what you need and nothing more.

He told me I could run the single disk with no problems he said if I do alot of towing or if I go to the track I should go with the multi-disk and he sed not to lock it up if on the dyno

Shouldn't the single disk be as strong or stronger than stock

I would also vote Multi-Disc.

But I do know that Chris knows his stuff so if he is telling you it will be good then he is probably right on.

Stronger yes....needs more tuning to make it live imho.

Triple disc is about 400 more compared to a single disc. Gotta pay to play.

Id much rather run a triple disc than a single disc but thats just me

I would run a tripple disk also. Figure whats $400 more when its already apart. Also, as far as drivability. I think that stall would drive just like stock for the most part until you lay into it.
