Hey - Google is MY friend, LOL!

Yep - Camaro guys are going to the Circle D upgraded 6L80s - and just consider how much MORE abuse they get in a 5500+ lb. P/U vs. a 4000 Lb. Camaro!

Great information thanks LLoyd, however I was looking more for real world failure limits, not manufacturer specifications. Allthough, I do wonder how much of a "safety" factor the engineers used.

Oops - sorry 'bout that - I should have known better.

The 5th gen Camaro Forums might be a good resource . . .

Weight and rear end gearing are going to play a role.

I was hoping you and or Skipperdaddy would chime in. Do you know if he is using the Magnacharger supplied part of the TCM tune? Also, when you say "punch" do you mean roll in or stab the throttle?

By the way - how goes the 6L80 swap in your truck?

Yeah, I suspect I'm a few hundred pounds heavier than Skipperdaddy since I'm running a 6.0, 6L80, 3.42s also on 20s in a 4x4 Avalanche.
