Don't count on ever seeing an average of 18 mpg, IMO.
Expect to see 13-16mpg combined average, depending on how you drive it.
I can get 22 mpg if I reset the average on the highway and drive under 65, but as soon as you start the stop and go driving, it drops fast. One day of driving is not an average.

In town sucks I can't tell you what it is because I never drive in town all my driving is long trip highway. It was getting around 15-16 when it was new and I broke it in slow and easy and the power picked up as it gained some miles. Right now on a straight shot trip 3-4 hours and using the cruise it will knock down 18-19. I actually gained about 1-1.25 per gallon after dropping it and putting the tonneau cover on it.
So city sucks
highway 18-19 with cruise and 70 mph and occasional. I have noticed as I drive it faster 75-80 the mileage does get a smidge better.

11.8 average per tank on my usual mixed commute and around home. I'm out of town on business in an area that is primarily freeway driving and I'm averaging 14. I'm on a leveling kit with 285/70-17 Duratracs and 3000 miles. Crew cab 4x4.
