If u don't mind me asking, how much did the swap run you? I have a 4.8 & I'm thinking of swapping in a ly6 in mine instead of fixing up my 4.8 .

What id like to know is where all you guys are finding these 6.0s... Everywhere I have seen them for sale they want a left nut

Upside is that you got an aluminum block with L92 heads. Downside is you have to lose the DOD and you have to decide what to do about VVT.

He makes a valid point; you do come out with some nice weight savings on that one

Unfortunately I don't think you get a choice on the VVT matter, as you are replacing a 4.8 which has no VVT. You are planning on running your factory ECM, right?

Yeah still running on the 4.8 ECM... Tune is there but still needs more tweaking.... Did a 8.8 1.9 60 ft.... Hope I can get it to 8.5 lossing the 20's and some tunning at the track

i dont think the l76 has vvt. atleast my g8 didnt (i dont think. it had just a normal lookin single bolt cam gear). i did delete dod tho. shifted that motor at 6800. it never batted an eye at it
