6.0 has dod -_-....

Default 6.0 has dod -_-....

so i just finish pulling the 4.8 out... was cleaning the 6.0 ly6.. saw a sensor in the back next to the oil pressure switch... the valley cover has veins looking... my question is .. would it still work.. like cracking up or running... i dont want to put it in and then it wont work....

Down goes another 4.8 .... sad day lol it's alright I'm gonna continue to build up my little underdog.. Lol

Good luck on the swap! Did u get a take out motor or did u order a new one? Using your 4l60e?

my truck ran really good.. i was going to cam it.. then i saw for a few hundreds more just get a 6.0
full bolt on 6.0 vs a 4.8 cam... i think the 6.0 will be up there lol...

LY6 (HD gas engine) isn't DOD; the L76 (1500 VortecMAX) and the LFA (1500 Hybrid) are the only DOD 6-liters other than the G8's L76. Where did your engine come from?

My time in my sig is for my cammed 4.8 !! Lol let me know how the swap goes. Are u gonna run the 4l60e?

it came out from a 2008 silverado vmax
just start it up today.. literally just finish the swap like 2 hrs ago... had to change the crank sensor... wouldnt fit my hardness.. so we put the 4.8 sensor... seems to run fine ... no wot for now... my tuner has to send me at least the basic 6.0 tune ... gotta get use to that ss3600 stall....

the only reason i went with a 6.0 better flowing heads lol... not really looking dig queen ... i will be doing a lot of roll racing
