4L80e swap into 2011 4.8L ? Can it be done

A trans builder down here in Houston said the 80e might not swap into it because it's obd 3 ..... Can any one vouch ?

I dont see why it cant be done....you have the seperate tcm by the ecm still right?

Anything can be done but what it takes exactly im not sure so im in for the ride as this is of interest to me

Do a segment swap, an rewire the extra speed sensor. Id look into doing something like the 07-08 guys have done in their swap
