Post 4.8 guys?

I'm looking for any info, personal experience, with gains from tuning, using hp tune, or bolt-ons or any other helpful info. i'm new to drag racing a new truck and need all the help i can get, i am really wondering how much of a gain i will get from the tune, e.t. and mph, dyno numbers too. i'm at 250 rwhp and 260lbft of torque and running really lean. i'm going to put a new converter in this month. any and all info is appreciated!

a resource for you to try would be Nelson performance, check out his website and give him a call. He can tell you what the gains would be.

The best thing for a 4.8 is a good tune and a high stall converter. Just those two things really wake one up more than any of the other bolt-ons combined.

they are notorious for lacking tq... put a converter and tune in it... it will keep it in the powerband a ton better than stock and the tune will make more power while its there

I used to hit mid 14's all the time in my mostly stock 4.8 Like these cats said get a tune, stall, and some headers.
