2wd vs AWD denali
Besides the obvious, what are the other differences? Found out today the awd has a 8.5" rear while the 2wd has the larger one. Are there mpg differences? Track time differences? Anything else? Is the awd worth the extra $$?

I don't know the specifics, but there is a MPG difference with AWD versus 2WD. Track times on a 2WD will also likely be a little faster, however, an AWD is going to be much more likely to run the same times on the street as on the track when you get into the higher power levels to cause traction issues.
In my opinion, the AWD is a good option for a normal street driven truck that you want a little fun in without traction issues. It is nice in the rain to not spin at all pulling out onto a busy street, not that it ever rains anymore in Texas though.
The AWD will have more maint. and more issues when you start getting into higher power levels. If you want more of a truck in terms of high horsepower, track times, and being able to spin the tires you should go with a 2WD.
