17" Ralleys on NNBS??
#1
Anyone ever thought of this.. I was trying to think of a cool wheel that was classic and could get in bigs and littles and i came across the Wheel Vintiques 17" Rally wheels.. Can get them in 6 up to 10 inches wide and infinite backspacings..
Im going to be bagging my truck in a few years and i thought a set of these on a bagged and BD'd NNBS laid out at a show with an old school bench seat conversion would be an eye catcher..

Its crossed my mind, but I haven't seen one with anything under 20" wheels that looked proportionate. I'd be interested in seeing some photochopped examples if anyone has the time, skill and inclination though.

Here is a straight on side shot of my truck.. and a straight on side shot of a wheel like what im working on.. Anyone with Photoshop feel free to do a quick and dirty..
Slam them on there for one photo..
and slam the truck on them for one too....

My truck will end up being gloss with flat black stripes.. Probably end up with a manual trans conversion too..
Im going to make a roll pan for it using the grant customs roll pan corners but make it roll under a bit more so it isnt so damn flat back there..
Looking forward to getting all this stuff going.. Michigan Metal Works is going to make the air ride components for me along with bracketry, then a good friend who owns his own shop is going to do all the real work, probably have to wait until next spring to start tho. says it will take him 2 months to do all the work and i dont drive the el camino in the snow soo.. have to wait until it thaws after this winter..
Have a wedding coming up so cant do it right now..
Someone has got to have adobe photoshop and can throw those wheels on the truck..
come on..
