Is the 1 7/8 headers to big

Default Is the 1 7/8 headers to big

on my 08 rcsb gmc,5.3 with milled heads 2.5 5.3,pat g custom grind,pi 3600,1 3/4 lts,411s im in the process of getting some new headers with a 3 1/2 y pipe but just dont know if the 1 7/8 r to big i do spin it up to 6800.anything would help tyhanks in advance

Are you spraying, or have a supercharger? If so, how much?

nope all motor went 12.71 before the 411s and the 3600 pi.had 373s and a edge 3500

I don't think you'd see a benefit from it.

Probably lose more on the bottom end than youll add up top in the rpm range.
That and the added cost, just isnt worth it unless youre planning more power than a heads/cam 5.3
