Hi I was wondering can the l92 engine from a 07 Yukon Denali be removed without taking trans out, can I get access to bell housing bolts with intake removed?

Wobble and long enough extension you can get to all of them. May need to lower rear of trans to help with angle.

 

I pulled my engine by removing the intake and accessing the top trans bolts from above. I put a floor jack with a scrap of 2x6 under the trans pan to hold it up. I also removed the exh manifolds and turned the motor 90 degrees to clear the core support. I did not remove any body parts.

 

trans definitely does not need to be removed, pulling the top part of the core support is not necessary but makes life much easier, as stated pull the manifold and it will come out sideways with the ac compressor and engine mounts attached. really need to take intake off anyway and the top center bellhousing bolt is right there and the left top center bolt is accessible as well and of course the right center upper bolt isn't there,the other 6 bell housing bolts can be removed from underneath
