Default 07 and up front drop shocks???

why is it so hard for these guys to make drop shocks for the front? I've been looking for almost a year and no one is making them for the front. I remember seeing a guide for custom shocks in stylin trucks catalog. The question there is they are asking for extended and collapsed length, is that just the stem or the overall length. Maybe I should take one off and measure it, draw it and post up the drawing on this site for everone to see. Maybe I should send it to one of these companies so they can start making shock for us. Sorry for the rant, but my front shock are still stock and they are shot.

Extended and collapsed length is normally eye to eye length of the shock when its extended and collapsed. But in the case of an nnbs i woud say its the bolting face of the top end to the center of the eye on the bottom. One measure of the shock extended and one measure of it collapsed.

The front shocks are stem on top and 2 bolt bottoms. When you say eye, would that be the same as the bottom of the bolt plate? Or are you refereng to the eye the plate goes through on the bottom end? just want get this correct, lol.

for that price, I hope they are better than the nitro 2 drop shocks I have on the rear, lol. I could collapse them the day I put them on. I think I'm going to go custom made, but thanks for the info guys.

They arent just shocks they are adjustable struts that can be at stock height or adjust down 1"-2" or up 1" with spacers on the lower coil mount. They ride great and improved my ride. The price is each. Nitro drop shocks are cheap in quality and price at $34, the better rear shocks are the street performance shocks and they run about $65ea. These are great for giving you a few more inches drop...way better than cutting a coil. And if you want just a 4" drop you can use these with spindles and stock coils for a much better ride than bouncy MCG coils.

Are these do it yourself with a spring compressor or did you take 'em to a shop?
