I got the 6l90 waiting to go in. Got a harness that im cleaning up and just need a driveshaft to get it all good to go. Yes the top bolt is a pain in the *** to get to but it can be done you just got to let the tranny go as low as you can before trying to get it out.

i refuse to reinstall that top bolt. it's a complete PITA

you need a 13mm swivel socket, 15mm swivel socket. if you extension has any issues holding onto a socket, tape the socket onto the extension imho

the dealer only requires the last 8 of the vin to get the information on the truck/car/suv you are looking for parts. the way the dealer part section has become with you need everything down to where the hell it was made almost just for that dumb *** person to look up parts for you

Questions already..the 6spd is out of a 2011 silverado and they dont take the harness nor the cooling lines out of any of their wrecked vehicles so question is which harness should i order? the 2011 one or the 2wd denali harness iamkeniff that you mentioned to me in pm?Was that a 08 or 09 harness you listed?

As for the driveshaft keniff did u have get a different length DS or did facory length work after the swap

In our deffense thats not really the parts guys fault. GM has countless option combinations and often times little to no description. But I understand the frustration.

Nevermind..i forgot about the vin decoder on here..its an 08 ..perfect..

Now another question.. if i use this vin to flash my ecm at the dealer will my 5.3 run good enuff until i get it tuned ? Denalis have 6.2 so im not familiar if this will let my 5.3 start or run.

@ keniff .. did u get urs flashed at Duplesis?
