bad *** man. so basically if i ****** up an 09 6l80e and 4wd T case I should probably grab the ECM off of it. good to know niff. Thanks for being our guinea pig

you can run the 07 ecm too if you wanted, but the best thing to do is get the ecm for the year you need imo. your ecm will work, you just need EFIlive to do the vin swaps, or just take the truck to the dealer and tell the tech you have a vin that you need installed in the ecm/tcm
(6.2/6spd for your year, and has to be 2wd or 4wd *if you have 4wd*) then get efilive to swap the vins back to your stock vin. i had to relicense my truck through hp tuner bc the serial numbers didnt match on the ecm/tcm. no biggie though.

hmm whatever year you get has to be for the tranny basically to make it an easier swap id guess.

after we get a real tune i bet i wont need a converter! this thing is quick on just a 1/4 throttle! i loved the way the truck drove, until it went into power reduced mode. forgot to change air/fuel tables while we was rushing for a basic tune itll be up and running for good Saturday i think.

dont know if i mentioned it or not but my DIC still has the tranny temp and works that i know of lol. also the tow/haul button works too.
