Sounds like the stator in the converter is not overrunning, definitely problem with converter. Even if it wasnt taking off in first the converter will still flash stall. Call Yank.

I agree, Converter problem..I have a Yank 2800 and love it..But I have a bit more motor than you.See if you can swap out for a TT2600 for your 5.3, since it ran so great pre-rebuild/converter in stock form...good luck

So this is the third time to get the converter rebuilt?
I believe id look else where for a converter.
Did they say what caused the problem?

JR - yea man whenever you want we can go for a drive at this point im just frustrated with this thing and i believe i got shane frustrated with it as well poor guy i just keep bugging and bugging him lol but iw ould like a solution to this , this is the only thing standing in my way of my 6.0 swap

- yea i have trie4d dropping it into first and taking off (NO RESULT) , ive tried everything possible to try to get it to react different and nothing, but i dont think it has anything to do with tune because even though it feel soo gutless at takeoff it still does shift through all gears fine so its not stuck in 3rd

- YANK sucks definitely negative customer satisfaction on my end! i tried contacting them and they were real a** h**** , and didnt want to warranty anything even though it had only been a a little over month since purchase

- yea the converter has been taken out twice and rebuilt three times , because everytime we put it in same result! supposedly everytime its been rebuilt the fins have been bent over and i think stator keeps messing up! they belive its line pressure well my tuner had all line pressure turned way down before initial start up this last time and still nothing it almost feels like it f***** up the converter again , this last time it was "COMPLETELY REBUILT" quote .. billet everything and as soon as it was put in no0thing happened same as always!

The converter had been gone through twice by a reputable shop here called Branting, he said he thought the stator was way too agreesive for this set up and the second time he rebuilt it he changed it out with a "looser" one. At this point I dont think its the converter.

Looking forward to hearing what's REALLY wrong with this one. Can't keep blaming the converter if it's been "rebuilt" three times and still does the exact same thing....
