I'm thinking of paying up for a year+ to keep the current rate.

Interesting...Another reason I back up Sirius, especially since I bought the lifetime subscription for my receiver. 2 more years and I'll break even at the current rate. Plus I can listening over the net at home and at work.

Damn, XM keeps calling me asking me to sign up for half off. Something like 5.99 for a year. Maybe I should take their off next time they call.

They say the new fee covers them adding the online listening and the O&A channel

I just called to cancel XM a while back, the chic said she would set it to be turned off on Jan 31, it's still on. I called in something like mid Nov though, and wanted it off then and a partial refund, but she wouldn't do that, and couldn't figure out that's what I wanted, so I'm not calling them and letting them in on their mistake until I see another bill for it.

Faze, XM and Sirius are competeing companies for sat. radio. I personally prefer XM for some of their speciality music channels, but Some like Siruis for theirs. I know Sirius has the NFL and NBA I think so some like it just for that- as they air every football game, not just regional ones. XM has Nascar and MLB, as well as college sports, again they air all games, not just regional. Its up to each person which is better IMO, but I like XM the best

i like sirius and have sirius in two vehicles. it's the 13 whatever for my truck and 7 for my wifes truck. xm and sirius are competing hard right now. i would love to see sirius drop the bottom out on the price. however, they are still smaller than xm so it might be tough to do.
