am i the only one that didnt know there was a hybrid silverado? how long has this been around??????

exactly like stock i heard . my buddy got one as a rental and it rode out he said . said he couldnt tell it was a hybrid accept for him running the hell out of it for 6 days and not filling it up

Well they give a 15% increase not that much but it's better than nothing and it has the power of a v8 if you lets say have an avg of 17mph like i do it would get to 19-20mpg not all v8's can do that, you know a good gain most people would love that 15%

yeah, but the best part is a 110v plug under the back seat and another in the tuck bed

my dad is going to buy the hybrid truck in a few months here... maybe i can use it on long trips... i guess hes tired of waiting on me to do the engine swap in his old 83' Sierra Custom.

i have a 110 volt plug under my back seat and in the cab already. Pssst who needs hybrid for power?

Yeah, but this thing will function as a generator too, starting and stopping the engine as needed to recharge the batteries. When power goes out, you can run your house off it.
