Default WTF? goofy interior light

This truck does some stupid **** sometimes...
Driving home tonight, I stopped at a store and put some stuff in the back seat of my CC. I get about a mile down the road and notice that the back door light that is built into door hasn't turned off. Well I start messing with the dome override & light switch, but it is still on. Get home and play with it somemore in every possible combination (dome override engaged/disengaged, etc), but the damn thing won't turn off until it sits long enough to activate the battery rundown protector. I guess there is a short somewhere giving it constant power. Anybody have this happen before?

neil, was yur truck the one that the instrument cluster just quit? funny story: day after that post happened a friend of mine (posts as zerog10201) thought his was doin same thing. the lights weren't on and he was driving at night. he thought the instrument cluster lost power. turns out when he was cleaning it he had moved the dimmer switch down far enough to turn the lights off. what an idiot!

LOL! Yeah, my truck was the one having fits with the instrument cluster. Turns out it was the Radio fuse under the hood not making a good contact. It works fine now.

After further inspection of the interior light, I also found that the window switch in the rear door doesn't work either. I chased the wires but couldn't find any shorts, so who knows what the hell it is. It is the door that got smashed into earlier this spring, so maybe the body shop fugged something up when they replaced the door. Why it started acting up now is pretty much a mystery.

on the line of things messing up in the truck. on my cluster gauge, my fule gauge is spazing out, it will go from full to empty and my low fule light will come on, then if i shake the truck, it will bounce right back, dont know what the problem is, have any of yall hard of this or know how to fix it.
