woooosh when shifting

Default woooosh when shifting

I have a 05 silverado 4.3 and everytime I shift I hear a noise kinds like a blowoff valve but don't have a turbo its loud enough to notice it cause people always ask if I have a turbo and I don't I do have a kn cai don't remember the series but its the playuc molded looking one just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has heard of this thanks for your help

is it like your throwout bearing clunking? oh wait thats probably just my piece of **** thats going back for the 3rd time for warranty work on the tranny cause nothings wrong,sorry just had to rant

Just the intake, the K&N intakes make that woosh noise when you let off the gas. You could always put the stock intake back on and see if the sound goes away.

Ok thanks I was just kinda worried about it never heard that before I noticed it sounds a lot louder with the a/c on sometimes I can hear it over the radio with the windows up no other mods have been done just exhaust

That's just it I've had it for about a year now and I just started hearing it I don't know if its been there the whole time

ha, my truck feels the same way but i've never taken it in, same truck to 4.3 5 speed 06, mine is a silverado, I just wish it would be normal all the time, f**k!!

is it when you shift hard of just regular my 4.3 5 speed used to do that if u popped the clutch then my clutch went out
