Default window motor break?

after just finishing the oil change from hell (walmart oil pan leaking like a faucet....bought 10w30 instead of 5, couldn't get oil filter off) I go to roll my driver's side window down and about half way the window just drops So I took the door panel off, ripped off that plastic thing, and can't see anything that seems to be broken or out of alignment. When you press the window button it makes a click noise and acts like it tries to want to move the window but nothing happens. I'm assuming the window motor broke? Does anyone have a part # for this?

thanks

welp im pretty sure a cable snapped because I realized I move the window up and down by hand!

hmm edit: looks like the motor seized up. wtf. pos.

So....the solution now is to replace the whole assembly. $200 for the GM oem on or a $40 job off ebay

Also, why is my passenger side window so slow to roll up? Is that normal or is it a sign the motor is going bad on that one too?

Ebay works fine for mine, I think they are just slow. Mine started sticking before it broke.

If I were you I would go buy one from Advance auto. I am on my 3rd window regulator on my drivers side and 2nd on my passenger's side.

Fortunately, advance auto has a lifetime warranty on theirs. I think I paid $90 for each or something to that tune.

The driver's side went out several years ago...i think if i remember right. This will be the 2nd one on the driver's side. Honestly, I wish I just had manual windows.
