I plan on buying the dual composite head lights and grille for my 1990 Chevrolet Cheyenne and right now its got the crappy ugly single head lights, I know the grille will fit but will the head lights mount up correctly? Also do I have to do anything to the wiring to run dual head lights? If I do what needs to be done?

I've got an 88GMC that I think at one time had a single headlight. I think, and don't quote me on this, but i think you have to buy some new buckets for the lights to set in. I might not be using the right terminology but i think you have to buy something to mount the new lights to.

I think the core support is the same. The headlights will bolt to it...you need a new grille and bumper filler as well. A 94-98 grille and filler will work if you cut 2 notches in the core support where the filler goes (it's obvious where once you get the parts). There may be a write up on this somewhere on here or gm-trucks You also will need the corner pieces next to the front bumper. You can buy all repop stuff brand new for around $300.

haha very nice thanks for the advice, I tooked a good look through an lmc truck parts catalog and I can get the new grille head lights signal lights with bulbs, with signal and head light brackets and I can get them new for 170 bucks+ an extra 30 bucks for the bumper fillers on ebay, but I still need the the wire harnesses which are about 4 bucks each, now how do I wire up the lights to my setup that i got now?

Im either leveling it or lifting it, cause lowering a truck around hear is pointless with snow in the winter and crappy kept roads all year around, you know of any wire harnesses?

I'm not trying to take attention away from this thread; just wanted to say to beastmode that I thought his buddies '88 looked good.
Chevy Cowboy, I think a small lift would be a good idea, especially if you can get some use out of it, too.

haha best part about that truck is that it has 250,000 miles on it, all original but the rear end which was his dumb *** fault, its only a 305 though. only reason i tell ya this though cowboy was cause he had the old front end to and put the newer one on
