In a truck that has the dual manual sliders. I think this has been brought up before, but my search came up nada. I remember hearing they wouldn't work, but also heard that a 05 or 5 dash cluster wouldn't neither, it does. Is the plugs on the back the same?? I am looking to upgrade the int a bit, this would be a nice cheap upgrade for me.. Thanks on any help you can give me..

There's a guy on gm-trucks or silveradoss.com who did the swap, it included alot more than just swapping units. He did a new harness, temp sensors, and I can't remember what else. He got it working, but for the effort not worth it in my opinion.
