I have never seen a stock ext cab dip into the the 14's or even with just minor mods that should not help much. I have witnessed a 2000 ext completely stock run a 15.3 this truck had 3.42 locking in cold dry weathe. Just because you have not seen it, does not mean its not true.

 

cold weather. must have been in december and 30 degrees outside.

 

Its rare when it get that cold here in Edinburg.... It was more like in 50's.

I totally agree with Shark. Just cause you havent seen it doesn't mean it aint true, but if you wanna see it be in Edinburg this winter. Last year there was a Charcoal gray ext cab 2001 with a gibson cat back doing a 15.34. I have the video. There was also a truck that had BEYOND LIMITS in the front window that was going in the low 15s. The driver said it was stock but didnt open the hood to prove it.

 

Edinburg is just Northeast of McAllen. About 150 miles south of San Antonio.
