Default The whole story about the supercharger! (superchargedchevy02)

Well I wont be posting much more on this site, but thanks too all that has answered all my question and helping me out. As you all probley know I was suppose to recieve a Kenne Bell supercharger from superchargedchevy02 last week. After talking back and forth and going to the bank and getting a loan on it he sent it out. I first asked him to send it C.O.D. through UPS so I would recieve the package the same time I would give up the money. But he said he couldnt find a UPS station in Austin Texas so he sent it Fed Ex. That was fine with me, no problems. It was sent out on that Friday but didnt start moving toward my house on Monday morning. Now on that Monday it was Presidents Day so all the banks were closed, so I was not able to get a money order. So on Tuesday I went to the bank, got the money order and that evening (on my way to work becasue I work at UPS I sent a money order NEXT DAY AIR, that cost $22.00 for a .15 pound letter! But since I was suppose to get the supercharger on Thursday. I thought I would be kind enough to send it to him so we would recieve both things at the same day. (I was going to PM superchargedchevy02 the tracking number that evening but I came home to a suprise.

I am 21, still live at home and pay no rent so I still obey my parents rules (Just showing them some respect). I have been blessed to have parents that helped me out on even buying my truck in the first place. They gave me 3000 dollars for a down payment and also cosigned so I could afford it. They dont like me spending money on my truck, and I dont mean to go behind their back, but I work hard for my money and I would like to spend it on what I enjoy. Unfortunatly they dont understand that because they dont like cars or trucks like I do. So I come in from work and they are both standing there in the doorway and I thought someone in the family was hurt. They looked at me and said, "We have to have a talk". What happened was superchargedchevy02 called my parents house while I was at UPS and asked to speak to Mark (My name) (But also my fathers name). So my mom gives the phone to my dad he said hello. Superchargedchevy02 said, "Yeah Mark this is the guy you bought the supercharger from. (My dads like, "Sorry I didnt buy a supercharger from you you must be talking about my son. Then superchaged said, Oh OK and hung the phone up. Then I had to explain to them what I had coming and how did I get the money. They were mad to say the least, more becasue I bought something that expensive over the internet. I almost got kicked out of the house over it. So I tried contacting Superchaged that evening but he would not answer. So the next morning I contacted the UPS center that the letter was at and told them not to ship it to his home. I told Supercharged the story and he said he was fine with it. So I refused the supercharger and the letter was sent back to me. Shipping for it was 41 dollars so the next day I sent him a personal money order through the post office for 50.00. (It should be there shortly but after being caught and try to make things up to this guy I understand how he would be upset but I did everything I could to try and make it up to him.

This is what he said that upsets me.

Oh onequick5.3 you need to grow up and be a man and own up to your word. If I make a deal with anyone I will not ship until I have payment and it clears.

Its going to hard to sell something and tell them to send the money first to make sure it clears especially 3000 dollars to a total stranger.

Believe me I wanted that thing more than anything, but its not worth getting kicked out of a home and breaking a relationship with my parents over it. Nothing is worth that.

Because, this is the first time I have been on this site in a week and really I felt embarrased about the whole situation. When I first bought my truck all I wanted was a chip. Then I found this site, all the talk about running 12's made me buy a cam, then sold it, then almost get a supercharger. All this talk about insane performance about truks just gets me in trouble. Its time to just leave it alone.

I have to admit, he's got a point!!! I hate all of you A-holes, too!!! With everyone raising the bars lately, you idiots made me spend another $430 today! Thanks for nothing, and I'm sure each one of you will get a verbal lashing if I stayed logged in on my girlfriends computer and she reads my private messages. I'm not supposed to still be spending money on my truck. I'm supposed to be saving up for "our future", but thanks to you guys, I get to hear more bitching!

Anyway, can't blame you guys for everything. Getting skull drug by that cummins Saturday didn't help out the situation much. Funny thing is, after I lost, my girlfriend jokingly said,"Well, I guess you want to buy some more "crap" for your truck now, huh?" I told her it didn't bother me at all, but deep down, IT ATE MY *** UP!!!!! We'll see what the cummins is made of really soon!

Really, guys....Thanks for all the help...in spending my hard earned money.

Onequick5.3- Stay here...might not be the smartest thing to do, but it sure is the most fun!!!
