Believe me, I know as well as anyone about changing your mind. I bought a new 6.0L engine, put an entire new valvetrain in it, bought a bunch of other stuff....sat on it all for a year.....and then finally sold it all! I just didn't want to get to the point where I couldn't drive it everyday. Sending the money for shipping was a "stand-up" thing to do....props to ya for it! Just hang out and "lurk" ahwile. You don't need to spend every cent you have or have the baddest truck out there to enjoy this site. My **** is slow and I have a good time. You made a mistake, you did what you could to make it right. Sometimes **** just doesn't go your way. Confusious say...."Man with hand in pocket feel cocky all day"....whatever that means.

 

Ya man, just hang around. Most of us are quite a bit older and have more money to spend, but we all have to deal with someone elses approval of our purchases to some extent. I can understand your parents point, but you also have to understand a little of the other guys point. No big deal man. Its not like you tried to rip anyone off, you just ran into some unfortunate circumstances.
Try having to explain why you need a new tranny, 6.0, and more tuning stuff, when you just bought a house way out of your price range, have to pay for a wedding, as well as 8K in plastic surgery. You will always have to compromise.
This site and my truck is "my thing", other than this, I'll squeeze a penny till it BLEEDS!! Im cheap and proud of it!!

i think all the sponsers put this site together, they know how LS1's can be addicting, so they made it so everyone can get together in one place and spend all there spare money. sometimes money that isn't even there.


i can see both sides of this story, there is no need to leave this site, you just have to learn to control how you spend your money. **** i will be 21 in june and i just spend my money foolishly, my parents just say how many more mpg will you get with this part. right now my truck gets 36mpg in the city. well thats what they think it gets. wait there not that that blind.

and i blame SLOWPROCESS for the way i spend my money. you should have just let me beleive that my truck will always be slow. now im spends all my money on a cammed 6.0, lt headers, cutouts. man i hate you!!!!

oh and i've tried to forget about this site, but my nightmares wouldn't let me.

 

Dude dont worry about him.... let him be an *******..... Who cares.. You dont have to look him in his face everyday.... Just move on..... Yeah my dad is really sketchy when it comes to modding my truck... his brother died in an car accident... I understand his skechyness....

But on the other hand.. my mom doesnt care about cars. so She gives me the Dough... and well as you can see by my install list... I spend the **** out of it...

Z06 cam, 918 springs, ported and polished 6.0 heads, 1.85 roller rockers, 6.0 block punched out O30, steel forged crank, forged rods, 42 lbs injectors, inline fuel pump, supercharger pumping 12 psi, vett servos, performance tune, 410 posi, 4L80e change out, cut and balanced drive shaft, nos shot, long tube headers, drag tires, and the list go's on, and on , and on, and to think when i first showed up, i just wanted to know if i can replace my 4.8 with a 5.3

I'm in the same boat...my wife still does not know I've got a turbo on the truck, and to boot it helped me smoke my trans which is going to cost more money to fix!!!
LOL, I'm in deep and trying to get my head above water!! Hahahahahaahahah

But guess what, I love this crap and can't wait to lay rubber all the way to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
