Who has a shop?

Who has a shop and all the tools and experience to do a gear and differential swap? I can pay you and help you out and buy some beer. I am willing to make a road trip to Houston if anyone wants to help me do this in a few weeks. Thanks.

We have a shop. I cant set up gears but my pit man { for dirt track cars} Ray can. He charges $75 to set a set of gears up. He mostly sets up 9 inch fords but he has also set up 12 bolts for some of the other racers. I haven't blown up a set of his gears up yet and we run anywhere from 550 to 710 hp motors for roundy round cars. It would be around a 6 hour drive for you if you are interested.

Yes I am very interested. I have not ordered the gears yet but I am losing sleep over it seriously. I think I will just get some nutz and go with US Gear 4.10s. I will order them tomorrow and get them in a week or two, so whenever you are free I can take off work and come over there if everything goes as planned. I will have to look at a map though because I have no idea where you are but I assume it is near Houston? Anyway thanks for the reply and how long do you think this will take? I can help with the basic stuff. I will bring my ASP pulley along as well. I will check out my map and write back later. Thanks!

you might want to head up I75 and then hit I-40 to I540 straight into town. I dont think you will find it in the houston area. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />
