Default Whitt1, have you ever raced at Greenville MS?

I was just curious because a friend of mine said a guy from Memphis was down at the track ringing people with a Tahoe. Just curious if it was you or if you know who it might have been. If it was you, let me know next time you're down. I want to check your ride out. If not I may come to Memphis for the farm and gin show. We always make a trip down there to party on beale street at night.( or go to Platinum!)

They went under new management this year, and they swear that it will be a hooking track. I'll check it out one weekend at let you know. It would be nice to see your ride, and watch you take some guys money. The guy that was running the tahoe was doing some serious running. I have a friend that thinks his Ford turbo diesal can't be beat. You need to teach him a lesson.

I can hook you up with some good races. I would like to see you run my friend Bart's Mach 1. You need to come down for Showfest this year. It's one of the countries biggest shows and there are always alot of ricers and some actual fast cars looking for races. Last year drew about 300-400 show cars and trucks and they all go to the track on Saturday night. It's some time in May. I'll let you know when, but it's alot of fun.

I haven't seen another fast Tahoe in Memphis, but that's pretty cool if he's fast enough to impress the locals at Greenville. Is the track a 1/8 or 1/4 mile and did you get any times the Tahoe ran?

It was originally an 1/4, then last year they changed it to an 1/8th. Now, with the new management, they have went back to the 1/4. The guy in the Tahoe wouldn't let anyone know his times, and he didn't give a mod list. They said they thought he was spraying it, but he beat everything he went up against. Yeah, everyone was impressed by how fast that thing was. He tried to race my friend for $2000, so he must be a high roller. My only advice is to stay away from this one green mustang. My friend that has the Ford diesal trailers it down every once in a while. I know for a fact that he has over $50000 in that thing. I also know for a fact that it runs somewhere in the 9s. That thing is just nasty. What kind of times are you putting down?

I drive a sleeper, that said I only try to win by a small margin,If you show your hand to quick nobody wants to play. Then you have to leave or try to run with the big dogs. Were you saying that the track doesn't flash the times up?That might make things more interesting.

Exactly, no times flash up. It's all up to the drivers judgement on who to run. That's what I like about the track. I like the sleepers. They make the most money when its all said and done.
