Default Whats your MPG

i was wondering what everyones MPG is in a 5.3 im getting 14.8 nothing done to the truck i dont drive far but shouldnt i get better than that. is there anything i can do to get better gas milage without a tune or putting a load of money into it? sorry if this was already asked but thanks for any help

my 08' 5.3 was getting avg 15.3
my 07 classic 4.8 is getting 18.1

Daily mixed driving my 05 Z71 Ext Cab 5.3 has been in the mid 14's through the winter, but last summer I was averaging above 16. I'm hoping it just the lower temps and winter gas and my mileage will return as temps rise.

14mpg avg in my 02 ecsb z71
16-17mpg avg in my 99 ecsb 2wd with mods in sig

Just to cheer y'all up my 87 crewcab is getting 6 around town. I can't hardly wait for the 5.34l6oe swap. Its on the stand. Jay
