Default Whats a good GM truck for a woman?

Hey my mom needs a knew car since her van is slowly dying out. I want her to get a truck since she always is taking the seats out to haul drywall, dirt, furniture and other stuff. What truck would you recommend? Has to be a quad cab but doesnt need to be a long bed. Really Im wondering if there really is a ride quality difference between say a Silverado and a Sierra? A SUV is really out of the question because I really feel she needs a truck bed type because shes really **** about keeping the interior clean. She doesnt really want to drive a truck because she used to drive a truck way back when she was young in the 70s and I tried to tell here that there not the sam at all but she still persists they are horrible. Plus I work 7 days a week so I cant even drag her to a dealership for a test drive. Any of you have to convince your wives or girlfriends into a truck?

My mom LOVES the trailblazer, its not a truck, but it can certainly haul a lot of stuff and its really comfortable.

If she is driving a van now and thinks trucks are bad, I suggest a small BUT LOVING tap to the side of the head.

Seriously, these are not anything like trucks of the 70's. I suggest a 1/2 ton ext cab Silverado or Sierra. 4.8 or 5.3 doesn't really matter since she doesn't look to be modding or towing. I think she will be VERY suprised to test drive one. When you shay drywall, what size sheets are you talking?

Not sure how big the dry wall sheets would be will have to check on that. Probably gonna get her to swing for a 5.3 liter incase I feel the need to borrow the truck to tow my cars.

I think the new quad cab 1500 would work well. Maybe an avalanche. Also I didn't have to talk my wife into a truck I had to tell her no I am getting the truck.
