whats the difference in a 4l60e in a 08 tahoe and a 04 silverado??

Default whats the difference in a 4l60e in a 08 tahoe and a 04 silverado??

im just wondering if the 04 model 4l60e will work in the 08 tahoe.i was told there was a difference but idk what?

Transmission itself shouldn't be different. Electronics are different i believe

yeah someone just told me the 08 model had a 2nd speed sensor above the neutral saftey switch and the 04 model didn't and it wouldn't shift without it.can anyone confirm this?

well i just found the difference in them.the 08 model trans has a speed sensor in the front pump and the trans wiring harness has the extra pigtail for it.looks like i can just change the front pump and wiring harness and it will work
