well this is i believe my first post in the trucks section so howdy.

i picked up my new tow truck the other day. has like 96k miles on it and i paid 16,500 for it its a crew cab white duramax, what do these suckas run stock, my 01 powerstroke ran 17.1 with a intake box and this thing feels alot faster. i probably killed a lil bit of et with these new 305 75 16 tires that i replaced the wore out stock pinwheels with. but i figure it should still bust off a slow 16 sec pass?

im planning on a intake and exhaust, whats that worth, im not sure about a chip cause i like my 19mpg these days.

 

Probably around a 16.4-16.5, and about chipping these things, they will get even better mpg with a chip, around 1-2 mpg more because the engine is running more efficiently because of the advanced timing burning more of the fuel. Pretty much just the opposite of how gas engines are, we spend all this money but are rewarded with bad mileage.
