Default What.will I run

I should be putting my new motor in hopefully before the weeks out. Just waiting on head gaskets and some other small stuff. I been reading how quick some of y'alls trucks are and was just curious how fast I should be at the track? My truck is a 2000 sierra RC.

My new motor is a 6.0 bored .030 over with mahle pistons, comp hyd roller 54-4 12-11
Cam grind xr265hr, 1200-1600, 265/271, 212/218, 522/529, 114 lobe sep angle.
Comp lifters
Complete valve job

Circle d stage 2 278mm 2a
60# injectors
Magnum 72mm turbo

I really want to be just as quick as a Lighting or close to it.

When I had the 5.3 I had it tuned by Nelson performance on 15# of boost. I was told that the tune would be surprisingly close.

No I haven't had it on the rollers with the 5.3 I only got to drive it about 300 miles. I had the thrust bearing go out.

your looking at about 480ish on just the motor and then about 20hp every psi you run

it really depends on the tune and just how much boost you plan on running..

if the tune is a lil off and it freaks out its gonna be slow haha. i went from a 14.3 to a 13.2 with just dialing in the tune years ago on 6psi. i was learning how to tune and my first pass was horrific..

Do you have a wideband to keep an eye on AFR?

oh and my neighbor has a lighting and with a upgraded blower, lower 4# pulley, tune and W/M injection he only went a 12.8 to my 12.9 and i was running half the boost he was.

One thing is when I would get on it, it would only pull for a little and the wastgate would dump to me right in the middle of pulling. Plus it seems to break up to I put some ngk 4177 pkugs and gapped them to 29 and that help a little.
