Yesterday, I was able to bench press 250lb for 6 reps @ bodyweight of 200lb. I have never been a fan of low rep sets or 1 rep max attemps. However, I am still curous of my max.

All through highschool I couldnt bench for crap. I could only bench 180 then. And of then I got out of school and got into car sales and got engaged to so i blimped up. I am only 5'8 and got up to 238. I wore a 38 pant and hated it. About a year and a half ago I started working out and taking different things and now i wear a 34 pant and work out with , well now, 240lbs on bench. I started ,rep wise, working out with 140 so i have gone up quite a bit. If i would eat right i would be trim like i want but i still enjoy my beer too much. I take in about 200 grams of protein a day now along with amino acids and other things i wont talk about. I work out at least 3 times a week now doing wieghts and cardio. I never really worried about my max before it always messed up my reps or i was affraid of pulling something. I screwed up my shoulder playing ball so now i get to hear a lovely popping noise in my shoulder when i work out. I am still not happy with my size but i am working on it. Keep it up man

My routine is very simple. I workout my chest 2 time/week. On day 1, I do 4 sets of bench and 4 sets of dips with added weight for about 6-8 reps on each set and never go all the way to failure. On day 2, I do 4 sets of inclne dumbell and 4 sets of incline bench press for the same reps and never to failure. I had never benched this much before. Maybe just 4 weeks I was doing about 235-240 for six reps. Thats about when I started taking Cell-Tech. This stuff really works. As far as my max goes I am going to start benching with 275 for a few reps and rest longer between sets. After doing this for about 2 weeks I am going to for 315 and hopefully I will get it off my chest.
