I wonder why it is such a PIA.. Is there anybody that has tried to hook it up or just saying that. Thats like the big deal about how a 05 up cluster won't work in the 03-04s. They work just fine, but have a different setup in the cluster.. Hmmm

Something about the wiring harness not being correct IIRC.

you have to wire up some sensors in the duct work is what i remember! Hey, if you want it, i dont see it being more of a PITA than its worth. I just see that as being lazy and not wanting to make it work.

Re-flash BCM (to the vin of the donor truck), add temp sensors for zoning in the duct work. Change the blower control module on the HVAC case, find a wrecked truck to dig a harness out of then sort out the needed HVAC wiring according to the diagrams and transfer, modify to your existing harness. IT's a pain but what isn't, not something for a novice. Change out the HVAC panel to the digital panel. I'm doing it on mine now. But we have a tech 2 alldata and gm TIS for doing the reflash stuff. Wo this it will get expensive quick, Also got the salvage yard connections that will just let me dig through what they have and gut as necessary to get what I need.
