I dropped the trans off this morning actually. The weight difference in the aftermarket converter and the stock 4l80e converter is unreal lol

 

Are these different folks you're dealing with now?

The stock 80e converters are boat anchors.

 

LOl all shapes and sizes. I love getting looks at the parts depot when they ask me the year, engine, ect bout my truck, I say 03 2wd with a 6.0. I get ''you mean a 6 cylinder'', I go no 6.0. Then they scratch their head. Like said earlier if they said that to you, best bet is not to let them touch it cuz they are way far out of the loop.
