OP lighter wheels make a decent difference. Rotating mass is something a lot of people over look.

A buddy in high school made it for me about 4 or 5 years ago in high school. but you could probably buy a similar one somewhere. I'm debating painting silver or it or dipping it in chrome. I'm repainting the the truck again with a stripe like that sooolin fella has, but silver. Figured the silver grill would put the finishing touches on it. I'm just tired of ghost flames haha

My specific question pertaining to weight reduction is this: are the front bumpers worth removing? They look damn heavy. While I'm waiting on my transmission to be built and parts to come In, I've been playing with weight reduction. Is there a lightweight alternative to the heavy *** (looks heavy at least) front bumper? I've had a ss bumper cover for the past 2 years so its dirty. Should I clean it and make it shine or should i toss it?

Ive done a few more things but if you guys have any other weight reduction tips they are always welcome.

Folks in this thread are weighing the pros and cons of cutting weight from older GM trucks and how that affects everyday driving — it’s funny how much debate there is over a few pounds here and there and whether it really makes a difference on the road. In a way, that mirrors starting something new in life: you don’t always need extreme changes, just consistent steps in the right direction. If you’re just getting started with fasting, using a beginner intermittent fasting app that’s easy to navigate helps you build the habit without stress. I’ve been using https://wellness-app.com/ — it’s simple, beginner‑friendly, and helps you stay on track without unnecessary complications, which honestly makes forming the routine way easier.
thanks for the information!
