Default WEIGHT reduction.

alright, so most of you are gonna call me an idiot, but has anybody done the age old ricer trick and gutted their truck???? i was thinking about taking off my door pannles and cutting out all the metal i dont need and only leaving the metal i need to put the door paneles back on. i just wanna cut weight maybe just like 200 LB. so has anyone does anything like this? or even anything close?

If 200 lbs is what you are looking for just get some racing seats and a roll pan. Pull your front sway bar and make sure your gas tank is almost empty.

ya do like dock said... i wouldnt get into cutting **** up like that man. lose the spare parts if you havent already, take your back seats out etc.

Oh, i never thought about a roll pan,and the seats. Im really into the factory front seats so i wouldnt change them, but taking out the back seat would probably save alot, that things massive.

If you haven't already, loose the spare tire, jack and other junk that is hanging onto the vehicle as well.

Removing the motor and tranny remove allot of wieght...... jk.

I just take a big poop before I run, hey I just noticed you are in Pitts. Have you always been in pittsburgh?

Remove the spare, back seats, hitch if you have one, umm...

You arent gonna get any weight out of the doors... you can do rear bumper, tailgate, rear seat, front passenger seat, etc etc.

hes in the sticks

no hes not that far from us, dunno if your familiar wit the Beaver area or not but you start headin out to the airport and its about a half hour to his house from the airport or so right Pat?
