Weight 88~94 body style vs 99 up

On a set of digital scales that we have for dirt track, my buddies trucks: 1993 rcsb 2wd, with 454/700r4, and 18's ~42XX. 2002 rcsb on 17's, full system, 5.3/4L60 = 4480. The scales are pretty accurate, also.

Add probably 300 for the 4x4 stuff I would think. And add or subtract accordingly for the transmission and such.
A friend of mine scrapped a 93 4x4 suburban. They told him it was ~4500. It seems like it would be more so maybe they ripped him off but I dunno. Obviously the weight was without wheels and tires too since you have to take those back with you.
But the carpet was also a little wet and the engine might have been full of water also.

FWIW, my 92 GMC regular cab step side with a 4.3L and manual trans was 4160. Thats without me in it, maybe half a tank of gas, 2wd. Only mod was a Currie 9" rear end. Had a pretty heavy speaker box and amp behind the seat, so you can pull 40-60 off for that. Otherwise, completely stock.

My 89 RCSB Silverado pkg with a 6.0/TH350, no a/c, no spare/jack, dual 3" exhaust with 36" glaspacks, aluminum 15" wheels and 28" tires weighs right at 3680 with 1/4 tank and nobody in it.
