Default bottom end-ish type noise... uh oh bone stock engine >130K

I noticed since my last oil change that there seems to be a more pronounced "tick" sounding noise coming from the truck... It has been going for a while now and i guess I just haven't really noticed it, but I'm getting kinda paranoid about it now.

I have heard of the "LS tick" but this seems a little different to me. A few buddies who have listened to it said its nothing to worry about, but its bugging me. IDK how the bottom end can be making noise. Always changed oil on time, never ran bad gas in it, never used junk engine cleaners in the crank case, etc. Engine itself is completely stock. It's had maybe 4 bottles run through it but the shot was always set up a little rich, and never ran anything more than a 100 shot.

Don't think I ever really noticed the noise till I did my built trans/converter and got my exhaust re-welded. I'm thinking its maybe a tiny tiny exhaust leak in the weld, or one of the verter bolts backed out.

Its not LOUD, but its definitely noticeable. Can't tell if the speed of the tick increases with rpm due to exhaust sound.

When the truck cools down I'm going to pull the starter and check all the verter/flexplate bolts.

best way to deal with that is a really really loud exhaust or a good loud radio....

4.8s are cheap, let it ride and if dont want to stay together, it will let you know.

One of the verter bolts tightened about an 1/8th of a turn. all buttoned back up and I can't hear the ticking.. or its not as pronounced at least. Ears may be playing a trick on me lol. Placebo effect
