I just got to thinking how fun the Thunder Shootout was for us truck guys. We all seemed to have a great time, and it would be great to have a huge sponsored meet for the truck section. I see more and more truck guys buying sponsored parts and I think surely some companies would be interested.
It would be cool to have a shootout similar to the North vs South fbody shootout, just let the trucks play.
What do you guys think? I think it would be cool to see some of the fastest nbs trucks out there at one place.
Could possibly divide it up into stock, power adders, cam/heads,etc classes. I would take some vacation days to attend a meet like this.

Hey Slow did you ever get my PM?

at the second thunder shootout, the did index's and it was great. you either lost weight or added weight. it made people scramble to a certain extent.

I think in being fair to all, the best bet would be an index race, then use an idea similar to Thunders "King of the Canefield" for the final race. That would be the race you big boys could have for ultimate supremicy!!!!!
That's why a huge turnout would be so important. What better way to see who is the best of the best than to let them duke it out on the track. No bs, just a clear cut winner! I know of several trucks on here that are itching to go for that top spot!
Or maybe just go with classes with certain limitations pertaining to that individual class. Doesn't look like too many people are showing interest in something like this anyway. I guess us few that posted up could always meet up on a country road somewhere in the middle and duke it out, but 2tone isn't invited with his beast!!!
