Want to beat a 1999-2004 Mustang GT
#11
Well my mustang makes for a fun quick DD,
But thats what the truck is now, the Mustang will be going under the knife at some point perhaps LS swap perhaps Coyote swap not sure but its not gonna be a 4.6 2v engine when I want power.

that coyote swap is pretty pricey for the gains to be had. you could do a LS for about half the cost!

I know in my 02 gt 4v swapped mustang only made 321/320. It was out running a lot of car that made a lot more my car. But my truck with a tune cam yank PT 3200 and stock 342 on the highway just happens tonight coming home from the track. Pulled on a 2v pretty hard. So it won't take much. A 2v to me is worthless waste of money. I put a set of fox lake ported heads custom cams. And only made 299/305. Had a easy 2500 in the top end. But I loved my zinc yellow car so it got the 4v. I watched this little scsb 5.3 ("stock")truck run 8.8 all day today. All it took was a tune and some tires so he said I only ran 9.5 spinning half way down the track.

Never did he say it was stock prior to my post. Not many stock GT Mustangs of that time frame running around on the roads these days either. Almost all of them have atleast a CAI and a Catback exhaust along with an offroad X or H pipe upgrade.
