please tell me i bought the correct one. i'm afraid i was supposed to buy the one for the silverado SS

 

According to the Volant web site your '04 Sierra with the 6.0 should use kit #15053 so you should be all right with the kit you bought on EBAY.

 

I wander what the difference is between the SS and the vho intakes??

 

I think the ram air might be different since the SS doesn't have the tow hook opening for the scoop...

you should be fine, i think the only difference between the ss volant and the regular silverado one is price. I had a regular silverado volant on my SSS and it worked fine. I belive its all the same under the hood anyway for intakes
