This is a video of me and 03GMC engaging in a little spirited driving on our way to the small Houston meet at Hooters on the Dec 30th. As far as I can remember we both hit it about 30-35 mph. My biggest problem with racing is that I ususally spin uncontrollably cause of the one wheel peel thru 1st and 2nd. But this time it wasnt so bad. We both let off about 115mph cause of a car in one of the middle lanes. The road we were on is 4 lanes each way and we could have went around the car, but we didnt want to chance it.

Pretty good. What kind of exhausts do u all have? And what mods does 03 GMC have?? Both the trucks sounded sweet. Just wandering what all was done to the trucks and stuff. Looking to do stuff to my 99 5.3 silverado reg. cab swb(second truck, other one was wrecked). Just looking to change some stuff or something. Thanks

 

Im running a 3" cutout that was open in that vid, and a 14" magnaflow muff. My mods include an LS1 swap, TR224 cam, UPD intake, E-Fans, Nelson's Tune, and a built 4L65. 03GMC has a Radix supercharger w/ pulley, LT headers, and a Tune. Im sure he has more, but thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully he will chime in later. He had his window open during the race, so pretty much all you hear is my exhaust, and a little bit of his blower whine.

No I havent dyno'd it yet. One of these days im gonna try and make a trip up to 2ToneBlowns shop and see what kind of power its making. Im thinkin its probably making about 340 hp or so, but thats going off of similer setups I have seen. Maybe I will get suprised and put down even bigger numbers .

 

I like the exhaust i hear when ever the camera is pointing toward the gauges and forward. Its right before it goes to that, someone was playing with the gas (one of u all do it twice). Which one if u all was that?? To me my truck is fast, but i would like to put a supercharger on it if i could find one for kinda cheap(cheaper than what they are). I like both or the trucks. Good job....

 

To me it sounds like you are talking about the sound coming about 30 sec into the vid. If so that is my truck.

 

Is that ur red chevy on the left? I watched it again and who ever is doing the video had it on their gauges on the pillar and was giving it gas and it sounded pretty good. What exhaust is on that?? Both the trucks sounds good as hell to me.. thanks
